What does Mentoring Mentors offer?

The MMI program is structured to provide year-round, phased-in support through school-based programming, after-school mentoring, summer learning, college exposure, peer leadership, and community service.

The School-Year Outlook

During the school year, students receive consistent mentoring and academic support multiple times per week for 34 to 36 weeks.

Students participate in leadership development, group discussions, study support, service activities, and structured mentorship experiences that help them build confidence, discipline, and stronger decision-making skills.

During the summer, students participate in 5 to 6 week intensive learning experiences that include college exposure, enrichment, wellness, leadership development, field trips, and experiential learning. This year-round structure allows MMI to maintain strong relationships with students and families while reducing the gaps that often occur between school years.
